Have there ever been any lost travel dolls from this board? Sorry if no one wants to talk about this subject but I miss TD Kirsten so much.

There were some nail-biting days when I really did not know where Gemma was, but she always made it to the next stop. The postman left a note at one host that blew away before they got home, but because we were using the tracking option, they knew she was supposed to be there. They went to the Post Office and picked her up.

Wow! That was lucky. The post office should be a little more careful with cards.

I think if you use tracking and insurance you should be fine. The post office doesn't always update their tracking until the package has already been delivered but I've heard that they are better at paying out insurance claims for lost items than UPS. I won't be using UPS anymore because when I shipped my last package they just handed the package to someone without getting a signature and another time they just left it on a doorstep. I like USPS Priority with delivery confirmation and insurance.

Ruthie had a long delay on her travels with her first host because of a death in the family. I didn't mind because I could emphathize with the host, but not being able to contact the host drove me insane!
Johanna's Traveling Emmy did actually get lost in the mail, but luckily she was found.
